A special cuvee of select Spanish grapes, Macabeo, Xarello and Parellada, all grown in the famous Penedes region. Unlike many lower quality sparkling wines, Pere Venture Brut Nature is produced in the painstaking champagne method. In this process the fermented wine is placed in the bottle along with a 'dose' of sugar and yeast. The dose creates a second fermentation which creates the bubbles. Each bottle must then be hand disgorged to removed the excess yeast in a labor intensive process. This method produces a silky, supple and uniform effervescence that is well integrated with the delightful flavors that the wine exhibits. This is a deliciously dry and refreshing sparkling wine at a super price.
