Purple-colored, the nose offers up plum and black cherry notes with a touch of black pepper. The palate is soft and round with ripe, saturated berry flavors. Finishes spicy and full with chewy tannins. A brooding red, filled with notes of dried beef that accent the fig paste, plum tart and black olive flavors. Lingers with tar and dark chocolate hints on the finish. Drink now through 2017.
